Digital Millennium Copyright Act
TribleTunes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In
accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright
infringement committed using our platform.
Copyright Respect
We take copyright infringement seriously. All content on TribleTunes is created with proper permissions and
licenses from artists and rights holders. If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright,
please follow the procedure outlined below.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content on TribleTunes
infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you
claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the infringing material: The URL or specific location on our platform
where the allegedly infringing material is located.
- Your contact information: Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed
use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your
notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person
authorized to act on their behalf.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or
misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or
disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in
which your address is located.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Response Time
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will take the following actions:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed or disabled.
- Investigate the claim and take appropriate action, which may include termination of repeat infringers'
accounts.
We aim to respond to all valid DMCA notices within 48-72 hours.
Repeat Infringers
TribleTunes maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat
infringers. We reserve the right to terminate access to the platform for any user who repeatedly infringes the
copyrights of others.
